5.1 million Australians love rainwater tanks, with good reasons

The Rainwater Harvesting Association of Australia (RHAA) is delighted to continue the Ripple Effect blog and continue a conservation about sustainable practices and sustainable water use in this dry country.

The RHAA believes that rainwater harvesting is a part of Australia’s future in sustainable water use, and 5.1 million Australians who own a rainwater tank agree. The Ripple Effect is about more than just rainwater harvesting though, the RHAA believes there is great community value in having an engaging conservation about sustainable water use and this blog has an important part to play.

The RHAA is a not for profit organisation representing rainwater tank manufacturers, pump retailers, academics and plumbers. We have an interest in sustainable water use in Australia and you can find out more about the RHAA at http://www.rainwaterharvesting.org.au/ or just email me at msmit@rainwaterharvesting.org.au

What do you think about the state of sustainable water use in Australia?
